Qualified in 1980 as a Building Surveyor and moving on to a Diploma in Project Management, Barry Jones has approaching 40yrs experience in the commercial property industry.

His track record comprises a general practice organisation before upgrading to one of the UK’s major pension funds, followed by a property development company and then back to a private general practice firm specialising in Building Surveying.  This experience has covered the whole gamut of Building Surveying, from party wall matters, through contract administration, dilapidations, schedules of condition, pre-acquisition surveys, refurbishments, building regulation applications, CAD work, etc.

He has also been involved in some major projects over the years, such as the redevelopment of a major 15,000m² office HQ and distribution facility for a significant US toy manufacturer, with an overall development value in excess of £15M.
